We are planning on a day each at BB and TL when we go in August. The last time I was at the waterparks was over ten years ago, before kids!! Back then they had photo pass photographers stationed in the lazy river, by the family raft ride, at the edge of the wave pool, etc.
Are they still there? They used to give out a little pass you wore around your wrist. I'm sure with magic bands they don't do that anymore.
I checked the my Disney app and looked under photo pass , but there wasn't any locations in either park.☹️

Yes, there are still a few of them there, but nowhere near as many as there used to be. They're at the end of the family tube ride in BB, sometimes at the wave pool at TL and at the entrance to both parks. But we don't see them anymore at the kids area in BB or in the lazy rivers.

We were there two years ago and again last year. Photographers were exactly where PP says.

I seem to remember some character meets (Lilo?) but we didn't wait for them - - photographers might be there, too.

At BB there is a pretty cool photo station near the front of the park where you can get your pics with snowmen and with the big slide in the background. That was one of our favorite pics from our last trip. But there definitely weren't as many PP photographers in BB as in the theme parks.

We were just there last month and had lots of pictures taken at BB & TL, they were in the wave pool, ends of the water slides and the lazy river, they were by the games and activity areas as well as by the characters.

We were at both parks in May/June. Both parks had a single photographer who wandered in the small kids areas. You'd just point out your children and they'd try to get a few pics of them playing. We also saw the one always at the bottom of the family raft ride at BB. The only other photographer we saw was one time during a lightning closure we saw some walking towards the front and asked them to get our pic.

Last month we were at typhoon lagoon and they had photo pass photographers at 2 scenes at the entrance. They had one in ketchakiddee creek (the kiddie splash pad area). There was also lilo and stitch (not together they were at separate times) you could meet and get your picture taken. I didn't see any at the end of water slides or the lazy river. And we floated around that river the entire day!

Thanks for all the responses, I'm off to look for a disposable waterproof camera (wondering if they make those anymore either!). I remember years ago a photographer would be in the lazy river just taking shots of people floating by together. DH and I have a great picture! I would end up with two or three of those little wristlet photo pass thingies by the end of the day!!

We took a go pro (in water proof case) to the water parks. It was perfect b/c we got both video and stills!

I think they may still have someone doing this, but it's kind of hit or miss! We caught one last summer in the lazy river at TL. It was an atrociously awful picture, but he took it!

We also had our picture taken each time we came off Crushin Gusher and with Stitch at TL.

At TL last year, the day we went at least, there was a few but they moved around and were only in certain places briefly, like in the lazy river, edge of the wave pool, by the jaw, with lily, etc.

We were at Disneyast month and visited both water parks. We did not have Magic Bands...we ended up with 9 of the wristband photopass cards! I like to visit a waterpark before any of the major parks, so I can use the wristband cards...they are right at your fingertips!

I didn't see as many photographers as before-but they were roaming in the places you had mentioned...

Awesome that they have those little wristband cards still!! I liked them too before magic bands. I would use them in the regular parks too!
