Photo package purchase timeline

Do you think this will change the ability to pre-purchase and then cancel the package before you get off the ship? Just curious, obviously they get more people on the back end buying, but also bet they keep more of the pre-purchase folks because they can now delay that final decision on whether or not we love/need the photos.

When you pre purchase the photo package, do you pay upfront? We have used it before but have just added it to our next sailing and it did not ask for payment? It was added as an onboard fun activity. Is this a glitch, something new or should I just call them?

No, you do not.

If you add it before, it does show up in onboard activities and doesn't require prepayment. It gets added to your cruise balance like other onboard fun.

Technically no you don’t prepay for it but you get a discount on the packages if you book it before your cruise rather than while on board. In the past and currently if you don’t download any and decide you didn’t take enough or for whatever reason you don’t want it any more you can get a refund. But if you download any they are all yours.
