Photo in signature?

I know to post a photo in a post, I can drag & drop, or copy and paste, or use the "upload a file" button.

BUT, how do I put an image in my signature? I know, there are some there already, but they were put there on the old boards, and just transferred over.

Dragging & dropping doesn't seem to work when working on my Signature. Neither does copy and paste. And I don't have a URL for the photo on my computer. Do I still have to use a photo hosting site to put an image in my signature?

You'd first need to upload the image to somewhere. I'm unsure of the exact integration of the old boards, but it looks like all your images are hosted at tiny pic. If you got to http://tinypic.com and upload an image there, then grab the URL you should be able to use that link to have it setup for your signature when you click the image icon from the signature section.

Yeah, I know how to do that. That's what I did when on the old boards. With the advent of the new boards, photo posting (in posts) has changed - but apparently not when putting an image in a signature. That's what I was asking.

Apparently you still have to use a photo hosting site for that. I used tiny pic. BUT, when you get the IMG code, you have to remove the IMG with the brackets from either end of the http:// code and just paste that in the window you get when you click the "Link" button on the tool bar. You can find the page for your signature by hovering over your username in the upper right and clicking on "Signature".
