Photo Impact Good?

Hi everyone! This is my very 1st post! You all have inspired me to make shirts for our upcoming trip in Dec. I was going to get Photo Impact. It is on sale at CompUSA this week, but I've started seeing some bad reviews. One said it didn't work with Vista. What do you think? I don't know if I want to have to take lessons by getting Photoshop Elements. TIA.

I like it... I have PhotoImpact Pro 11. All my designs are made with that (in my sig). It's pretty simple to use also. I dunno about the Vista question though.

I personally find Photoshop Elements easier to use. I never quite figured out the layering in Photo Impact and layering is a MAJOR tool I use in my work. I would have struggled making my logo below with out it. I've also not been able to figure out how to make a transparent background in PI. To me PE is more intuitive but I've been working in the graphics field for many years.

I have had Photo Impact 12 for several months now and I like it. However, it is the only program I have ever used. I have Windows XP so I don't know about the Vista question.

No clue about Photo Impact...but I use Photoshop Elements and it seems pretty easy to figure out (I haven't done any of the tutorials, I just click around to see what the features do/occasionally look through the help section)
