What creative thing do you do with photo greeting cards after Christmas? I'd hate to throw them away. I get so many from all my friends. Any ideas?

I save them with all my other photos after a few months on the fridge. I would never throw them away.

Im not talking about my own, Im talking about the ones friends send of their kids and families. Do you save those?

Yes- that is what I'm talking about too. It's like a photo record of them growing up. I never recieved any w/o kids in the pic- if it was just adults I might chuck it.

I put them in a pocket on the last page of our 'scrapbook' for the year. I'd like to say I was good at the scrapbook but mine are really just fancy photo albums with junk I saved thrown in.

I get a couple photo album from the dollar store - the soft kind, with about 12 pages in and I put the Christmas cards in there. I fold down the name part and just kinda jam em in there.

Then I put the album in the Christmas storage boxes. I have about 7 years of those albums. Its an inexpensive way to keep the photos.

i trim away the "greeting card" portion, and keep the photo in a photo album

I put them in a ziplock bag and stash away with the Christmas decorations. That way I get to see them at least once a year.

This past year I did what suzimar did and trimmed the greeting off a few of the pictures. Now DD looks at them and I'm going to add them to an album. One of these days...:rotfl:

I scan them, and put them in the computer folder that I create for Christmas each year.(I also amend the photo with any info then send (ages of kids, etc.) that way we can figue out who it is years from now!

then they hit the shredder for recycling.

I leave them up for quite a while, then trim most of them and put them in my scrapbook.

But a few years ago, I needed to quickly fill a collage frame that was part of a pair, so used the ones of all the neighborhood kids. I liked it so much I've kept it up ever since. - I make a large photocopy of the old collage before redoing it, so someday I'll bind the copies together and have a "watch-us-grow" book.

I throw them all away. I guess I am a terrible person. lol.
