HELP!!! I am in need of free photo editing software. On vacation, I took 100's of pics of shorelines and horizions which are not level and need to be corrected/leveled. I have performed a web search for the free software and there are lots of them out there, but I don't want to download each of them looking for what I need. Does anyone out there have any suggestions so I can narrow my search to just a few and then test them for ease of use?

Many have reccomend the "Gimp" software. I have not used it though... So I can not give any evaluation.

Picasa is a great photo organizing program that also has some decent editing tools including a tool to straighten pictures out. You can get it for free at http://picasa.google.com.

although I prefer PAint Shop PRo, I also use picassa and gimp occasionaly, they are both good programs...

Thanks for the suggestions,, i tried a few and went with Picasa,, it had the easiest interface for me to use to straighten up the 100's of photo's i needed to fix.
