Photo coaster tiles?

Somewhere a while back I saw instructions for coaster tiles with tissue papered pictures modge podged onto them. They were some kind of bumpy tiles and they were so pretty and I thought I'd try a set or two for grandparents but I simply cannot find instructions.

Anyone have any? I don't want to spent 50 bucks on a kit that's half as good.
