phone upgrade help?

Hi...hoping to get some help.
I am due for a phone upgrade on Verizon.

I know there are a lot of iPhone users here but as much as I would like...I can't get one of those.

Any thoughts of which phone is best?? We currently have the original Envy. Not sure if I want the newer one of that or something else.

Anyone know or have the Rogue...do you like it?

I have the Blackberry Storm and love it. The Storm 2 is out but costs a bit more than the Storm. Motorola also has the Droid coming to Verizon very soon. Might want to hold out and check that one out. My fiance has the EnV touch. That has seemed to be a good phone. If your staying with Verizon, I would suggest a Blackberry or check out the new Droid. Also if you consider the Storm, and people tell you there have been problems with it freezing up and such, that has been taken care of with a new software upgrade. The phone is fast and does all I need.

I just saw an ad for something new out on the 6th of November to Verizon users called "Droid"...claiming it's got everything the iPhone has plus things it doesn't...like a changeable battery and such.

Maybe wait a few days and see what that turns out to be like?? I'm curious myself and I'm an iPhone 3gs owner.

Then check out the Droid Eris. It is $99.00, runs Android and has a lot of the features the Droid has, but at a much lower price.

I second the Eris. I would not purchase another phone period that wasn't running Android so if the Motorola is out go for the Eris. The only thing you really lose is the keyboard.

I'm holding out for the Droid. I have an LG POS right now and can't wait until our "upgrade" date comes available.

right now verizon is running a buy one get one on all their blackberrys. so if you upgrade to a blackberry you can get a free one for someone else in your family, or a friend. but from what I have been told that promotion ends on nov 7th. I have Tmobile and they let you have a blackberry without blackberry service, or choose months you want internet etc, they don't put many limitations on plans/phones. I think verizon requires you to upgrade your plan if you get a blackberry.
