Phone lines too often busy!

Tried 7+ times already today when I realized I was 7 months out--busy signal. The other night, I called MS on my way into a wake, left myself on hold (phone in the car--I'm not THAT insensitive!) and was still on hold when I came out. This is getting annoying.

I don't want to sound funny, but what time of day are you calling? I just tried and got threw on the 6th time, by just redialing consecutively. My wait time is 7 minutes. Which I expected it to be much worse at lunchtime.

I found a dialing strategy of dialing, getting the busy signal, hanging up and the redialing immediately. I do this rather rapidly.

I hope this helps.

Not to rub salt in your anger, but I was only on hold for 5 minutes once I got through. 10 minutes total to get through and take care of my business.

Unless Disney agrees to re-design its web sites so that they offer actual information and use-ability, then I'll stick with phone reservations.

[begin rant]
Unfortunately the web designers at Disney seem to think that when we go to their web site we want entertainment, not information or a business transaction. Even the "low bandwidth" version (when you can get the preference to stick) seems to do more to prevent you from actually getting to your information than helping you find it. I don't want music when I go to the web site (especially if I'm at the office :rolleyes1 ), I don't want to watch animation before I can click on a new link, I just want a simple system that will get me where I want to go.
[end rant]

I feel much better now.

You know I would like to see nothing more than an online booking system. Though there needs to be some changes in the booking methodology.

Question, does DVC IT operate separate from standard Disney IT?
