Hi everyone! I have been a long time lurker of these boards and have decided to post the questions asked in my phone interview to help future applicants because I studied all of the questions posted on the boards in preparation for mine!
A little background information: I'm a senior marketing major applying for the Fall 2011 CP. My top 4 roles were Concierge, Hospitality, BBB, and Full Service f&b. I also checked off Vacation planner, character attendant, merchandise, photopass and attractions.
My interviewer was Kim and she was very nice on the phone!
She started out asking me Why I wanted to work for Disney, how I felt about the disney look, about my previous work experience at Outback, My favorite park, and my favorite memory in the park. She also asked how I would feel living with people from around the world, and also living with roommates
Then she asked me what my top choices were and she said that they all involved cash handling and have I had any experience with it. Then she asked me what would a guest expect of a concierge, to describe a time I made a customers day, how I have dealt with a difficult guest, what I expect of service when I walk into a restaurant/store, if I would have any difficulty working in the Florida heat, would I be comfortable using a computerized reservation system, how have I handled having multiple things going on at once and multi tasking at the same time, do I have any experience doing hair.
then she also asked me if she could ask a few questions about other roles. She said for attractions had I ever had to speak in front of a large group of people, and for vacation planning what would a guest expect when coming to a vacation planner.
Based on the questions she asked me I have no idea what role she was considering me for. Since she asked me questions about attractions and vacation planning does that mean she was considering me for those instead of my top choices?
