Phone disconnected

Hey, guys. I was just in the middle of my phone interview, when my phone disconnected and turned itself off. I tried for about ten minutes to get it back on, but to no avail (it was on the charger at the time, so the battery shouldn't have been an issue). I emailed them and asked if there was a way I could reschedule due to technical problems, but I don't know what might happen. Does anyone know if they'll be understanding about something like this? Thank you.

m sorry to hear that. If you can reschedule it, is it possible that you can call from a land line? If you're worried about it costing a lot, buy a phone card.

Yeah, definitely Email them and explain your situation and be sure to tell them that this is something you definitely want to do.

It wouldn't hurt to give them a call either.

The interviewer got back to me and said that we could reschedule for 5 PM tonight, and my roommate was nice enough to let me borrow her phone for tonight knowing how much this means to me. Crisis averted! ^_^ Thanks for the help, you guys!

Everything went fine ^_^ I apologized again about my phone, and the interviewer was still totally cool about it, and we picked up from where we left off, no problem. Thanks again for the suggestions and well-wishes, everybody!

I had the worst experience doing my PI phone interview.

I had JUST gotten a new phone the day before and didn't really know how to use it. So I got the call and started interviewing.. and it all went downhill from there.

First, I got an incoming call and when I tried to reject it, I accidentally answered it and didn't realize I put the interviewer on hold! Whooops.. Apologized and all was well.
Second, the call dropped about 15 minutes in. Completely lost reception. Luckily she called right back, and again I apologized.
Finally, I was on a CP at the time and we had received notice that a new roommate would be moving on the following day. She decided to move in a day early while I was on the phone in the living room area. So of course she just walks into the apartment, I'm the only one home and she has no idea where she's going. So I explain to my interviewer the situation and send the girl to her new room while her family chats it up in the background.

I thought for sure I wouldn't get the job... what a nightmare.. but I did! Haha guess you never know.
