Phone Cards as gifts

in regards to phone cards...who should get them as tips? International phone cards or domestic phone cards? For how much money? Thanks, in advance. My husband has been monitoring this site minute by minute...sailing Saturday. Which one of you has time to pack for three weeks???? Can't wait to meet you.

Be sure to get the ones that can be used internationally. Since most of the crew members are from foreign countries, they like to use them to call home. We buy big packs of the 60 min. cards from Sams. But remember, that's domestic minutes. When used from other countries, and particularly when used from pay phones, they will get significantly less talk time. But at least it gives them a chance to call home and say hello to their loved ones. We don't actually give them as tips, but in addition to regular tips.

Basically anyone that has a "non tpping" position, like the kids' club and teens' club counselors.

I believe the only positions that can accept cash tips are the dining room wait staff, bartenders, and the stateroom hosts/hostesses.
