Phone Cards - A FYI

Since the topic of giving phone cards along with tips seems to crop up pretty regularly, I thought I'd share an experience on our cruise this weekend. We had the same head server as last time on the Wonder. He had been very attentive on our last trip, so we had added a phone card to his tip. He remembered that and thanked us for it this time, telling us that he had used it to call his family. So for those who give phone cards or are thinking about it, the crew members do use them and appreciate them! Unfortunately on this trip I only had a very limited supply...I'm going to have to do a run to Sam's Club before the next one.

Glad to hear that you and Tony had a

I went to the Sam's here in Az and looked
for the packs of phone cards. Could not find a
any. They told me that they had done away
with the packs about six months ago.
I guess I'll go to Costo's.
Hope we have just as good luck as you did
on CC when we go in Aug.

Yikes!!! I haven't been to Sam's since I bought the last batch...I sure hope they aren't done away with here too! If not, I might have to find a Costco. I know they are around here, but I've never really sought them out because we don't go to warehouse clubs much. When I need something, I just impersonate one of my co-workers! (Now my wicked secret is out.)
