Phone Call Offering Resort Accomodations At Good Rate

I have received a few phone calls about this, with another coming on Monday. It is a company that is offering 4 nights at an Orlando area resort...the cost is $ 298 (I believe) for 4 nights...they said the resort is 13 miles from WDW and I think they mentioned Liki Tiki Resort. It is a two bed unit, with kitchen and washer/dryer.

One question I asked: "Will a timeshare tour be required to get this deal?" The response I got was that while it will be offered, there is no requirement to take the tour !!!

Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? If I could get a decent condo-type unit for $ 75 a nite, that is a good price. Would like to be closer to WDW, but could sacrifice the distance for saving a couple hundred $$$.

If anyone has gotten this type of call and taken them up on their offer, I'd like to hear how it went. :yay:

I have received these as well. When they come from the Marriott or Hilton I have taken them up on their offer and they worked out fine. From another "strange/unknown" timeshare company I would not take them. I have found that Marriott and Hilton are always professional and will only push the timeshare sale to a point. This is not the case for other companies and I have heard some crazy stories, close to the harassment level. IMHO.
