Phineas & Ferb?

OK..my DD7 is insisting she saw on Disney channel that P&F are going to be replacing Little Einsteins at WDW...I figured "if it's true, it'll be on the disboards"...but I'm not seeing any mention of it.
Anyone have any info?

I'd love that!!!! Can't imagine it would happen before the end of August (for my own selfish reasons...)

P&F is the one show I'll always watch with my kids - it's hilarious

i wouldn't want to argue, but I would think if it were true, it would already be well known. the main issue with that theory is that there is a strong Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior distinction as opposed to the rest of the characters and despite also showing on Disney Channel, P&F are considered Disney XD, which is a completely different demographic.

that said, Phineas and Ferb and Perry do exist as characters and have made appearances and done meet & greet appearances in very limited capacities. They are expected to show up at the parks (although not until at least October), but I'd have to doubt they're replacing Little Einsteins.

I'll add my vote for a place for them in the parks. They are my favorite from disney and its a shame that they don't have any presence in the world!

it comes down to semantics, but when P&F first debuted, Disney XD wouldn't exist for another year (P&F aired first in 8/07 but as a series in 2/08, whereas XD began in 2/09), but demographically speaking, P&F is more in line with Disney XD and if I'm not mistaken, new episodes usually debut on XD before they hit DC. XD aired 'summer belongs to you' 4 days before Disney Channel and even before it became available on Disney on Demand. Nerds of a Feather will air on XD 11 days before it airs on DC.

I think I saw the clip, your DD is talking about. It showed Phineas, Ferb and Perry, they were in a store, taking pics, signing autographs and having a dance party, if I remember correctly. But it, didn't say exactly what Disney store they were at. DS and I saw it, he thought they were at WDW too. He would love that also.

That would be stupendous! There are not nearly enough character meals/etc. for boys. My DS7 LOVES Phineas and Ferb, and honestly, so do I. It would be a great way to get more people to H&V. So totally would love for that to happen by our next trip!!

I can't imagine them replacing the Little Einsteins at H&V play n dine since that meal really is geared towards the wee ones. Even the replacement of JoJo & Goliath with Handy Manny & Agent Oso still keeps with the toddler theme.

But if they wanted to add P&F to the outside character greetings in the animation courtyard, my family would be among the first to line up!!!

that would have been Montebello, the first imagination park store. they had the meet & greet about a week after the store opened. all 3 characters were there (perry/agent p trading off with p&f)

My DD saw that clip on DC too (since it is on in our house 24 hours a day ). She said they were opening a P&F store in WDW. I didn't argue with her since I didn't see the whole clip but I figured it one had opened I would have heard about it on the Disboards.
I know she is looking forward to whatever it is and I'm afraid it isn't at WDW, or not what she expects anyway.

That promo caused a meltdown in my house when DS saw it and after some research I concluded it wasnt at wdw-I can't believe it is taking this long to get them out to the parks. We played in a little league world series this summer that even had a P&F rest tent with chairs and the shows playing all day during the games
