Phineas and Ferb birthday

DS wants a Phineas and Ferb 7th bday party !! He loves the show, but I am going to need some creative help. I figure I can create the invite and thank you cards without much trouble. (I did Indiana Jones ones last year.) My problem is the actual party theme. I wanted to do an outdoor carnival (that could become a basement carnival if the weather is bad...DS's bday is Oct 30th and we live in Western PA. Last year was beautiful and around 60, 2 years before it was cold/wet, we had rain, sleet and snow all within one hour.) I thought about bobbing for apples, knock down the milk jugs, ring toss, toss a penny in a cup,those types of games. My theme: I know what we are going to do today: throw the best backyard carnival ever !! DS would be Phineas and his best friend is British, so there is my Ferb. The girls could be campfire girls (I'd make them sashes and they could earn their "carnival badge". Our dog growls an aweful lot like Perry, so if I can get him to wear a tail, I've got that covered.
Help me with some other ideas...
Or if this whole thing sounds stupid, do you have a different way I can go?

I think it's a great idea! We're big fans of Phineas and Ferb in our house, even my 2 yr old loves them!

You could also get a posterboard and draw Perry to do a pin the tail on Perry game.

If you have a stuffed Perry, you could hide him and have a "Where's Perry" scavenger hunt.

They have carnival decorations at Oriental Trading and Hobby Lobby. I think this is a cute idea. ALL Of us here are P&F fans.

Hi! Our sons are exactly 8 days apart!

We have done a carnival-themed party before (ours was Renaissance-themed), and we did ring toss, penny toss, basketball throw, a relay race, and a scavenger hunt.

I got a stuffed Phineas, Ferb, and Perry at the Disney Store in late July, on sale for $4 each!
