We just returned from WDW and we were able to get a sneak preview of Philharmagic. It is awesome! The 3-D effects are really cool! This new attraction definitely has Disney magic written all over it!

I wish I could see it.
They have been showing previews of it on the Disney Channel. It looks pretty neat with the scenes from different movies.

I didn't dislike it, but I was somewhat disappointed. IMO, Shrek 4-D over at Universal Studios is a much better multisensory film experience for adults. However, since Philharmagic is in Fantasyland, it is geared toward the under 7 set so I think it will do well for that age group.

I can't wait to see it. Another attraction for the kids at MK is exactly what was needed. However, I think I might enjoy it too:goodvibes

Does anyone know if this is going to be open during the Halloween paries? We are only going to be in the MK for this on October 19th and I wanted to see it.

Thanks!!!

We can't wait to see it in three weeks. ::MinnieMo

We saw it 2 days ago(Wed) and the CM said it would be open all day. She said they planned to have it open from then on out, everyday!
We really liked it, my favorite 3-D now.

Is this exactly the same as in Paris or are there noticable differences?

Are you perhaps thinking of Animagique?
Mickey's PhilharMagic is a brand-new attraction that was designed and produced exclusively for WDW's Magic Kingdom. Surely we will see clones at the other parks eventually, but right now Magic Kingdom is the only place in the world where it can be seen.

It is where "Legend of the Lion King" used to be, across from the Carosel.

Can it still be appreciated if you don't wear the 3D glasses? DD is not real fond of them, but the show sounds like something she would be interested in. Are there any "scary" parts (for the under 6 set) or intense parts?
Thanks.::MickeyMo

There are no scary parts at all.
Like all 3-D movies, the image is blurred and double without the glasses.

I am so glad to see that others enjoyed this show as much as I did!! We weren't expecting to see it during our visit last week so we were thrilled that it was open. I absolutely loved it. It was so cute. I DO NOT like scary things coming at me in any kind of 3-D (and I'm the adult:)) So this was just wonderful. I grinned through the whole thing. There was a lot of laughter and smiles when we left the show. I think the 3-D effects have really improved. It was the first time I actually flinched because things were in my face. Fortunately, they were cute things:) Such an outstanding addition to MK!!

Hi, everyone! I've been a board lurker for sometime now. I have really picked up a great deal of information from this board. I just had to post to tell you that we did Mickey's Philharmagic last night at MNSSHP and it was awesome! My 3 year old son was so enthralled with this attraction. All throughout the show he was laughing out loud and reaching his hands out to try and touch the 3-D items. It was so much fun to see him having so much fun! When we were exiting the theater he kept saying "Again! Again!" We are going to do this again when we are in the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday of next week. It was GREAT!!!!

I think it's hands down the best 3D show on Disney property!

(yes, I liked Shrek 4D a little bit more. But we are talking Disney - not universal here! heheh)

I sat there with my mouth agape the entire time...I was absolutley enthralled by the show! (yes, I'm 26 years old and was as giddy as a kid when I left.)

I rate this right up next to "Festival of the Lion King" at DAK for best shows on the property!
