Philharmagic changes

HI all

Just noticed that Mickey's Philharmagic has recently changed numerous parts of the movie (not the soundtrack) the other day. Anyone know when these changed occured? The staffperson I asked didn't know of any changes but for anyone that has seen it a few times, it is very obvious.

What changes do you believe have occured? We saw this in Sept 04 and then again during our Jan 05 trip and did not notice any differences.

Same here...I saw it in March of 2004 and again in March of 2005. Seemed the same to me.

Hmmmmmm. I have been on many different types of forums and this would be the first thread on the DIS that I have suspected a little fishing. I have seen it numerous times on other forums, but not on this one. Not un-common for a first time trickster post

Yep, and they replaced all of the dolls in "It's a Small World" with real actors!

Sorry for the late response. There are so many subtle changes made recently. To list a few...the opening vortex has changed...broomstick scene now has water splashes in 3D.....mermaid has Donald sighing with heart shaped bubbles...eel scene changed...Lion King changes with Donald appearing more...Peter Pan has 3D effect on Donald and PP during their flight magic dust used on Donalds tail to keep him flying that leaves a trail now......Alladin flight changed with poof sound and visual through cloud...Donald on carpet scene faster and more collisions...Donald falls off carpet as it goes back into the sky.....final vortex changed...among many other changes....all for the better. Much clearer. 3D effect more dramatic than ever.
I have seen this show over 100 times in the last year. Trust me they happened. I am guessing March 1 for the changes.

I would say you are very observant! I did not notice the changes but I have only seen the show twice!

You asked why and I think you answered it yourself when you said it was

But it had all of these effects you list when it first opened and last month in early February when we were last there . I'm still not convinced that this isn't a trick thread!! C'mon...who is this...really?!?!

Ummm..none of those are 'new'. unless you haven't seen the show since it very first opened. I have seen it so many times and those things have at least been there 6 months to a year now. it would explain why the cast member didn't notice anything different. Maybe you just didn't get all of the effects while you were there the first time. Not trying to be rude...but they aren't new at all.
