Greetings Everyone: I'm waking up and fueling up for a LR.
Chester- Have a great time with Chet in your Tampa adventure race. It sounds like fun.
Jodi and Cindy- Good luck in NYC. Rock it, and I hope you have good weather. Oh,
Cindy - I heard the dining review. The whole family gathered around the computer and listened to it. We laughed the entire time. Kevin and John did a great job, and we had a great time with them. They were very fun company, and such nice guys. We feel like we made new friends in Florida.
As for me, I've gotten a couple runs in this week. All and all I've felt very tired. I think I'm still recovering from my trip. I'm going to try to go 10 miles today. We'll see how it goes. I have a goal. I'm going to run from my house to the Buffalo Bills Training Camp at St. John Fisher college (~5 miles from my house). So that will give me about 10 miles round trip, and something to see on the way.
As far as the trip report goes - we had a great vacation. Five days at the Dolphin and 4 days at POFQ. I hadn't stayed at either place so it was all new for me. We liked the Dolphin, but we loved POFQ. It just felt so much more Disney and "vacation-y". There was a conference going on at the Dolphin (dentists), and it started to feel like a conference we would go to for work. All and all I thought the parks weren't nearly as crowded as I expected. If we went at rope drop, they were empty.
The first day we went to MK at rope drop, went right to Fantasyland, and rode everything in an hour. At 9:30a we were walking by Ariel's Grotto (DD10

is a huge Ariel fan), and noticed a character handler standing there (the times guide said it didn't open until 10:00a). I asked if Ariel was there, she said yes, and there was only 1 family in front of us. SCORE!!! We walked in, that family had left, and we had a private audience with Ariel. We took pictures and the girls talked with Ariel for 10-15 minutes. When we left there was still no one in line. My daughters were in heaven.
Other trip highlights were the dining review with Kevin and John from the DIS Unplugged podcast. They were great dinner companions, and so much fun. Also, dropping the kids off at the Neverland Club and having a date night at Narcoosee's was a big hit too. The girls loved the Neverland Club, and Dana and I really enjoyed having an adult dinner.
I surprised Dana with the "Aqua Seas" tour. She loved that too, and the girls and I had fun hanging out in the Living Seas, and watching Dana swim in the tank.
Best ride of the trip - Toy Story Mania! Get there early, get Fast Passes, and ride as many times as you can.
Mike- we had dinner at the Biergarten, and I had my first Optimator for you. It was DELICIOUS!!!
The last night we did Hoop de Doo, and went over to the Chip and Dale campfire at Fort Wilderness. All were a lot of fun. Hoop de Doo was a riot, and a big, big hit.
OK, I need to go get ready for my run.
