Pharmacy in WDW?

Does anyone know if there is a pharmacy anywhere in WDW? I thought I read it was on Main St. in Magic Kingdom? We leave tomorrow...DS has a bit of a cold...dr. gave me a script in case it gets worse & I need an antibiotic down there...and I am wondering do I fill it here at home and pay the $25 or wait to see if I need it down there. Thanks if anyone has a clue about this!

There is not one on Disney property. If you are staying in one of the Disney resorts there is a number for a phamacy on the resort information flyer that you receive when you check in. (At least there was when we stayed at POR last year). If I remember right my friend used it while they were down there and said that they will deliver to your hotel, but that they do not take any insurance plans. So you may be better off getting the perscription before you leave if you really think that you may need it. I guess if you did not and end up getting it down there you could always submit it to your insurance when you get home.

Yes, I had to have our pediatrician call in some antibiotics first time we took both kids (DD started to throw up and had a terrible earache, her classic for an ear infection and he made an exception to call it in, never does). They are Turner Drugs I think, and they don't take insurance, but do deliver it to the resort front desk (they will refrigerate it for you if it needs it).

If it were me, I'd fill it and bring it along if it doesn't need refrigeration. That way you won't have to wait if you need it. Otherwise, I think you'd have to have it called in - or faxed? They would need the script. Maybe the front desk can fax it for you, I don't know.

Please fill it at home so that you do not need to play phone tag with the doctor and wait for the Rx to be called into the Walmart in Kissimee. :sick

That was us two weeks ago.
