PH to DVC AP?

If I'm attending WDW on a "package" (for a school trip) that includes a 4-day park hopper, can I take the park hopper ticket that I'm given to guest services and upgrade to a DVC AP?

Anyone know how much of a credit I'd get and if this is even possible?

Special group tickets cannot be upgraded to AP's. You can always ask at Guest Services, but more than likely this cannot be done.
