PFQ and which month?

Excited to hear about PFQ. Does anyone know if there is a food court like POR? Also - will they have the trundle bed option too and can you pool hop between POR and PQF? Sorry so many questions - just have the mickey itch ! We are trying to plan a trip but can only go end of June, July or August. Any thoughts as to which would be better weather and less crowded (haha)? We are planning 11 to 12 nites and want to stay at 2 different resorts this time. Last time we stayed at POR and loved it but would like to try out at least 1 new resort but we have 5 so that makes it difficult. Thanks for your input!

There is a food court, though not sure how it compares to the one in POR. You can pool hop between the 2 since they are considered 'sister' resorts. I'm not sure about the trundle beds. We booked our first stay there for last October and were moved to AKL due to the renovations, so I'm looking for a way to plan another trip this fall to finally try out this resort.

They haven't had the trundle bed, but it is worth asking Disney the question since they just refurbished.

Where to start?

As long as both pools are open, I think you can pool hop...as far as I know POR has trundles but FQ doesn't. Check www.wdwig.com to make sure...

I can only go when you can (DF is a teacher) the best time to go in my opinion is the last two weeks in August if your kids aren't in school yet. In the south school starts in August (varies by state, but by the last two weeks they're pretty much all going).

I went this last August 15-22 and didn't think the crowds were bad. The weather was horrible, but not any worse than it had been in June and July. Bring Ponchos!!
