- Is PF exciting & fun or is it scary up there for a 2 almost 3 y.o. (also, i've been told not to wait too long for this - do you agree)?
- CM is a food court, right? does it have entertainment - if so, when? thanks.

Our extremely adventurous daughter first rode when she was 3 and flat out loved it. The trouble would come if your child has anxiety about not being able to sit next to you (he/she will be in a sit in front of you and about two feet away) or if your child is troubled by heights. Adding to the height anxiety is the fact that your feet dangle. It could be unsettling to a two year old, but it sure seems like most kids like it.

Circus McGurkus is a food court type set-up. There is a brief stage show that occurs periodically throughout the day. (or at least the last time I was in there - which was a while ago, since we just never seem to eat there any longer.)

i'm surprised to hear that the adult is seated behind the child - a little nerveracking for me that high up - but probably not for her...we'll probably go over in the a.m., take a look at it & let her decide.
does anyone recommend Circus?

This is a japanese site, but the photos will show you exactly what the seating arrangement looks like: Follow this link

There was no entertainment at the Circus when we ate there. The look to the place was great and it was cool inside, but we will never eat there again. The food was horrible. :crazy2:

I rode this one time only and do not feel the need to repeat. I think I stressed so much at me being behind my 3 year old that it ruined me from ever doing it again. I couldnt even tell you what we saw or how the ride was my entire concentration was, "oh my God how can I grab hold of his swing and get him in my lap"! He's gonna be 8 soon, I suppose we could try it again....LOL! By the way...my son was just fine! :)

I agree! We do like to walk inside have a look around each trip...its eye candy, but will never have a meal here again unless I hear good reviews.

Ate there a couple weeks ago, with my 2-year-old goddaughter and friends. Limited menu, just fried chicken and maybe a couple salads. The chicken was about the equivilant of KFC -- not my favorite (I prefer Boston Market or Popeyes), but edible. The mashed potatoes were surprisingly decent, best part of the meal. Stay away from the vile Cat in the Hat cookies.

Very fun atmosphere, tho, even without a show. Lots of colors and doodads hanging overhead.

Thats funny because that will be what I probably always remember about the place. I thought the cookies would be a cute snack, like having a mickey bar at DW, but the things were horrible. The kids wouldn't eat them. How do you mess up a cookie?
