Petting zoo?

On some other threads I have seen people mention the petting zoo at FW. When we were there last year, the 'petting zoo' consisted of a bunch of ponies and absolutely nothing else. Am I missing something?

The petting zoo was removed when AK opened and moved the animals there.

If ya go to the nightly campfire at the right time theres a couple chipmunks you can pet.

oh, and if you keep an eye out at the Magic Kingdom you'll see dogs, mice, ducks, lions, a baboon and beasts.

About 100 years ago when I was in junior high, we learned about heavy petting in health class and how it could lead to STD's. I thought it was some sort of animal abuse.
