You have much better faith in people than I do.
I fully realize that any animal CAN be a service animal and that many of them provide a service that is for a condition that is not obvious.
But you know darn well that a vast majority of the pocket pets that are getting that certification these days are buying that certification online and are NOT trained as proper service animals.
It is going to create new rules, just like the abuse of the old DAS policy forced Disney in to new rules. This one is going to stretch beyond Disney though.
No idea what it will be but something needs to be done to address the "service animal certificate mills"

From what I have been told you are not aloud to ask for proof either, I have no problem if the animal is a real service dog..BUT I think you should have to carry a certificate with you showing proof...

As for dogs...just took our other miniature poodle out to the farm today...she was chasing the chickens as I left. It is harder to leave pets behind than kids.

I agree! We're not going until June of 2017 and we're already thinking about how hard it's going to be missing and worrying about our furry boy!

We discovered a great boarding kennel just minutes from our house. But if we hadn't we had every intention of bringing our two awesome dogs to Disney with us and boarding them with best friends. I've heard nothing but good things about it. The only concern I would have had would have been the price. They are very expensive. The place by a isn't cheap but it's much less than BF.

I've kept my cat at Best Friends. I was very happy with them. It is quite expensive. I will probably be bringing her there again. Our Vet boards. Our dog did wonderful. My cat decided to go on a hunger strike. Therefore I rushed home to Tallahassee early to get her out and home.

So if I have to board her I will do so at Best Friends that way I can visit and keep tabs on her. Whatever solution works best for you and your pet.

From what I have been told you are not aloud to ask for proof either, I have no problem if the animal is a real service dog..BUT I think you should have to carry a certificate with you showing proof...

The owner/company can ask what service the animal is providing for the person with the animal. They cannot ask what disability the person has.

No, they cannot. They can ask verbally if it is a service animal and what task the service animal performs. But they cannot ask for proof or ask what the person's disability is.

No they can't. The certificated online are worthless because you don't even need one.
