Pets and Laser Pointers

Is there anything more fun than a dog and a laser pointer? Right now Brutus is bouncing around the living room chasing the red spot. It just doesn't seem to get old....

We have one for Chloe too!

We have so much fun with it, we bought one for DH's elderly grandmother, so that she could "exercise" her dachshund. She just sits in her wheelchair and points it from room to room and the dog goes wild!

What's really funny, is pointing it on something soft, like a bed. Chloe will nose-dive it.

DH actually snuck his into Petsmart last winter and played with the kittens!

We've used a flashlight beam -- never thought of a laser pointer.....

Our cat loves the lazer pointer but our dogs don't even look at it.

Chloe's so easily amused that I can be stirring something with a metal spoon and she'll be running around, looking up at the ceiling, at its reflection.

My Jack Russel LOVES the laser pointer. She goes into a depression when I put it away so I have to be very selective on how often I use it.
The cats love it too.

My cat actually plays with balloons, he popped one and them played with the peices one time.
