Bluebell is as bad as Edy’s and possibly worse.

I do like Turkey Hill, and buy the all natural if I actually buy ice cream at the grocery store, but I still miss Edy's Swiss Orange.

There are various labeling requirements. Breyer’s has a few selections that can’t even be legally labeled as ice cream.

About 75% of Breyer’s varieties are now “Frozen Dairy Dessert.” There was an internet article about it some years back. A company spokeswoman claimed research indicated most consumers preferred the junk.

Yeah, it that was so, they’d print “FROZEN DAIRY DESSERT” in big letters on the cartons, not in tiny print because they’re embarrassed and are legally required to do so.

Get real. You’ve cheapened the product to remain at a reasonable price point.

Breyer’s used to be the ultimate brand in supermarkets decades ago. But I won’t even buy their “ice cream” anymore. I was so disgusted by their Cherry Vanilla Frozen Dairy Dessert that I complained online to their website and received a refund check.

By the way, “pints” of Haagen Dazs at Shop Rite this week. 3 for $6 with digital coupon. Must buy 3.

To me Breyer's is way overrated and massively over priced. I think that Walmart's house brand is better then Breyer's. For a long time they sold for the same price as Walmart's brand and all of a sudden it almost doubled in cost. Why? Haven't a clue.
