Listened to the show yesterday and really enjoyed it. Love hearing about the early years of The DIS and Dreams Unlimited, etc.

Also love the idea of topics that Pete (or whomever) does some research on beforehand and uses that to guide the session - like Pete did with service animal requirements and even the investment research around Disney stock, etc.

Honestly, this is why I love the universal show so much. It makes it feel so real, like, a normal conversation you have with your mates over dinner or drinks, because, they are friends.
I love that about this show also, I'm a tangent person, I love to talk, and I love thinking back over the structure of that converaation that started on hair styles but ended up on holidays/vacation (for example)

Us Aussies are nasal and I know this word doesn't translate, but bogan. For the poms, I guess that's similar to Chav and for yanks similar to red neck I guess.

I'd love that, Jes! I was in the Navy a long time ago, and used to hang out and party with quite a few Aussie sailors (they knew how to have a GOOD time!) . I also love the Outback Steakhouse commercials, so I'm pretty familiar with the accent.

The problem is, the Outback Steakhouse very poorly represents Australia/Australians.
Plus, any movie portrays us badly I think. Makes us sound like yokels or something.
But yeah, I'll see what I can do. I may call in for the universal show because I do have a question for the guys.

When my kids were young they enjoyed watching the Wiggles. Then they were into H2O (a show about mermaids). I loved listening to those shows just to hear the twang. Plus the Crocodile Hunter

Hot tip:
Most Aussies these days do NOT say "Crikey" unless referencing Steve Irwin. lol. May he rest in peace, but Steve definitely embodied the American idea of what Aussies are like. He erred on the side of bogan. He was a wonderful man though, and it's a shame and a huge loss for him to have died so young.
