I'm on vacation this week at a quiet golf resort in Central Oregon, and was really looking forward to a live show. Instead I listened to Pete's solo, pre-recorded show. Man was I happy that I got to do that!

His topics of discussion, and even some small rants, were exactly what we all love about the Dis podcasts!
I even enjoyed the discussion about The financials of Disney and Sea world. I'm also sad about the situation Sea world has found itself in. I love their parks, especially discovery Cove!
So if you haven't done it yet, be sure and check out Pete's solo show released today!

I was just getting ready to compliment Pete on his show. What's not to like!? We got to listen for an hour and twenty minutes on our favorite subject. Pete, don't ever think that we won't like a solo show...you are great and I love the solo shows just as much, if not more, than the group shows.

Thanks again.

Great solo podcast. Always interesting to have things changed up. ps thank you for being supportive of my fellow DISer Princess Jes. Class act all 'round.

Agreed! Another great episode and I feel that Pete was really spot on with his rants! I fully agree with everything he said!!

I was just coming to post the same thing! Such a great show. I was at the gym, driving, shopping at target, it was so great to have Pete with me. Such good content as well! Pete please if you feel the urge again, the show was wonderful!

Just finished listening to the podcast. Great show! Especially like the message of remember who you are traveling with. We go about once a year, but often have others in our party that have never been or don't go as often. It makes all the difference to make sure we plan things for them.

While I love the regular live shows, the solo shows are really great. It is really easy to vibe with Pete, he's a great public speaker/entertainer. I'd like to see more shows like this and the Friday night show.

I always enjoy the solo shows.....I had to laugh when Pete said who wants to listen to him ramble on......apparently a lot of us do. Great Show Pete, an thanks for doing it.

:thumbsup2 For sure. I finished listening this morning. The solo shows are totally different than the team shows but they're all great. Of course he didn't play my voicemail but I'll let it go this time. :)

Really enjoyed listening to the solo show. His solos have such a laid back vibe. I love the round table but solos are a nice treat. I truly like and respect Pete very much. And he gave me an idea for my "__ is universal" so I'll just go over and post that now!

We enjoyed every minute and today I subscribed to the old channel (DIS Unplugged YouTube Channel ink in the show notes) but I didn't find old shows just trip reports from a cruise etc.

Enjoyed his solo show. Now if they would only do some more freeform ones...

I actually enjoyed this show more than the regular format. I think email/voicemail is a better segment than "Rapidfire." So it was refreshing.

I think the popularity of this show is a sign that the regular format could use an upgrade. It's a rigid format to the point you can tell some Rapidfires are totally irrelevant and simply a tool to make sure everyone gets a chance to give one.

I actually found it interesting to hear Pete talk about his wish that Disney would put some effort into refreshing some of the old attractions. I think it's a valid statement for the weekly Dis show, as well. It hasn't changed a bit for the several years I've been listening.

This show also made me realize how much Pete means to the show and organization. When he's not there, my interest level lowers considerably. I often don't listen to the weekly topic show because Pete usually doesn't participate. I feel like Pete, John, and Kevin are the lifeblood of that show. I get so sad when one or more of them are not present.
