anyone worked with skoosh before? are they on the up and up?

what about the Caribe Royal or Floridays - i know they both have timeshare opertunities there, but if you book a suite or room with them are they hard sell places?

Skoosh is listing both of these resorts at reasonable rates (between 130 and 150/ night in June for two bedroom suites.)

is that reasonable or does that fall into the category of "too good to be true- they will probably hard sell the heck out of you"

That's in line with the rates our consolidator offers us. If they ask at check in you're not interested, and unplug the phone in the unit.

much too high to sell to you.

when they are trying to get you to go to their sales pitches - it is generally $50 a night - or like Westgate $29 a night for a 1-bedroom.

would want them to say that you don't need to attend any sales pitch. Especially at those prices.

you can also try

cypress pointe is sometime reasonable - just don't get a 1-bedroom - one of their 1-bedroom (the cypress pointe) is really more like a studio. the other (grand villa) is surpose to be a real 1-bedroom.

you know I think even the sponsor here has better prices - look at them first

for that price you can get your home with a swimming pool - I think.

I agree with Pat. You should be able to do a lot better selecting the Cypress Pointe (a nice resort that's relatively close to Downtown Disney) timeshare resort at one of the suggested sites.

thank you loriandmatt - just read the memo from Pete - certainly sounds like he has been on this board.

mostly buy beware.

so glad someone else tried skyauction before I did. it is pretty wonderful with very reasonable rates. Now if they just not change the rules every year.

I have used Skoosh before and had no problems cancelling. I had the refund quickly and they only took the $20 cancellation fee.

I've dealt with them 2x now with 1 cancellation due to air cancellation. They are a fairly new site with some really good hotel rates (all include tax). Booked with them for 2 nights in Nov. Also had to call them to cancel my June reservation - very polite (British accents) and took care of it immediately with no penalties.

Will do more business with them in the future!
