Peter Pan's Flight for adults?

i love dumbo! so cute ! the astro orbiter is plan creepy. i went on once when i was younger and HATED it and then again recently and still HATED it. i always feel like i am going to fall out :scared1:

I'm 38 and the first ride we'll go on when we get there is Dumbo! That has been my favorite since I was 6 years old. I went on it by myself last year at WDW.

We'll definitely hit up PP on MM. I haven't been on it in a few trips, but it's one I love too.

PP is my favorite ride!! I like it to be my second to last ride of the night. We ususally head to Nemo for our very last ride. It's always a short line just before closing.

There's a reason Peter Pan quickly gets a 40+ minute line. I try to make it my very first ride or very last ride, often aiming for both.

I enjoy Nemo, but maybe next time I'll try the walk through 'Observation Deck' instead of the actual submarine.

Where is the Observation Deck? I love the ride, but I tend to get a bit claustrophobic.

Peter Pan is a great ride...definitely not just for kids (however, that could be said for all the Disneyland "kid" rides)! There are three adults (and two kids) in our group when we go to Disneyland and all the adults LOVE the Peter Pan ride. However, none of us particularly enjoy Nemo. We skipped Nemo entirely our last trip and we were there for five days.

Oh we love Peter Pan's Flight! WE have been with 4 other families over the years & all of the adults agree. Awesome ride! :thumbsup2
I however did not enjoy Nemo at all. Rode it once & skipped it on subsequent trip(s?). But friends of ours loved it. I need to try everything in Disneyland at least 1x so my opinion is...if you have time for it, give it a go!! :)

Not only should you go on Peter Pan, you should go on all the so called "Kiddie rides." Someone already mentioned that the dark rides really separate Disney from other parks, and Fantasyland is is full of those kind of rides. There is a joy that comes from riding Mr. Toad and Snow White, and I'm pretty sure you can figure out from my screen name that I recommend Pinocchio 1000%! By skipping Fantasyland rides you are really robbing yourself of a lot of the Disney magic.

It's painfully obvious now that we need to go on PPF.

I love DL, but I'm not quite the stage of going on Dumbo and Astro Orbiter, so I'll not be too worried about lining up for those ones. But it looks like I should try Nemo when there is a short line, so thanks for the advice.

Agree 100%!!!!! :thumbsup2

Peter Pan is a must for me....the whole family rolls their eyes since there is always a 25-40 minute line when we go, but we spend 2-3 days each time we go so it's worth the wait! I can't miss it!!!

I love Nemo. I love the movie and even though I miss the original Submarine ride, we don't miss it. But it usually doesn't have that long of a line when we go so no one minds....

Have you ever got to see ASIMO in the House of Tomorrow? That is awesome!

Oh my goodness! Some of the attractions in Fantasyland are at the heart and soul of what makes Disney so wonderful. The "dark rides" are incredible! I would never tell someone I don't know that they have to do anything, but... I honestly believe that you must give every ride in Fantasyland a try at least once. If you decide you don't like it --- cool. However, there's nothing scary or not "do-able" so find the child within you and go enjoy them all --- yes, even Dumbo! Wheeeeee up and down and around we go!

In the words of Peter Pan, "I'll never grow up, never grow up, not me, not me!" (Wendy: "Not I.") "Not me!" :wizard:

Honestly, I don't know. I figured I'd ask a CM next time I go and hopefully not sound like a crazy person while doing so.
If you just let a CM at the Nemo entrance know why you cannot ride in the submarine, they will arrange for you to experience Finding Nemo in the Marine Observation Outpost. My DH and MIL did so last year. If there is currently a group in there and a show in progress, you will have to wait until they are out for the next show. HTH

totally worth it! DH didn't wanna bother with the 'super huge line' *rolleyes* but I forced him. That's where we won the dream suite. He has never tried to talk me out of a line since :P

SO WORTH IT. My daughter was 2 and giggling and clapping the whole time. It's my mom's (turned 60 just recently!) favorite ride in DL and it always has been. Can't miss it!!

Go early early so you don't have a long line, or if early enough none at all. It's one of the best rides at DL

Agreed! That was a learning experience for us, for sure! We realized that there is NOTHING in DL that we are too old for.
:thumbsup2 Right on the spot!
Another 40+ adult that loves Peter Pan! We missed it in our last trip since it was broke down on our MM morning, but it will be our first ride next time!

My kids at 11 and 12 and while they are getting to the point where they want to go mostly on roller coasters and such they still LOVE the fantasyland stuff. Now I think it is more for the shear "Disney" of the ride and not the "thrill" lol. I too LOVE Peter Pan and while we don't always make it on due to the lines I thin it is magical!!

I don't think you will regret going!!
