We just got back from seeing Universal's Peter Pan. It was good. It was one of those movies, that was cute, and left a bulge in my throat, from wanting to cry, about the ending. I never read the book, so wasn't sure of the real ending. It's funny, because I could see how little Disney really took from the book, for their story of it. My negatives, were it for some reason seemed like a short movie. Like it seemed like the movie just starts, and it's already in the fighting with Captain Hook. However maybe that is, because last week when we went to the movies, we saw LOTR and that is a LONG movie! The pixie dust was a neat effect, but wish they could have done a better job with the alligator, making it look not so fake.
The previews that Universal was showing was about two tigers, looks cute, think it has some word of "Brother" in it.
And a question, they showed preview for Scooby2, and it's a WB film, so how come Universal can have Scooby, etc., in their parks. Are they sisters companies? Because it's not like Universal has lots of other WB characters (Bugs Bunny,Batman).
