Peter Pan had always been my favorite ride at Disney. When I saw this post it brought back wonderful memories and thought I would share. My son has always been a huge Peter Pan, Captain Hook fan, he's now 15 and still loves pirates!! LOL!! Years ago when my son was very little, Peter Pan, Hook and Smee were in the parks quite frequently. One day when he was 3 he was too young to go on Space Mountain so my hubby took my DD and my son and I went over to Mickey's Toontown. WELL, one of the most "magical" things happend that day. We were standing right ouside of the play area and Peter Pan motioned to me to be quiet, came up to my son, tapped him on the shoulder and said EXACTLY like in the movie "Come on everyone, let's play follow the leader". Well, he ran though the play area with my son and a bunch of other kids behind him. The look on my son's face was priceless, soooo cute. Another memory I have is with Captain Hook. My son had an outfit of Hook, hat and short set. He loved getting Hook's autograph and Hook would always write something in his book, he actually remembered him!! One dsay we saw him in Toontown and then saw him again on Main Street, Hook actually stopped signing autograghs and came over to us and wrote a note to my son about he's being his first mate. Again sooooo cute!! One more memory, if you all aren't bored too much, we had breakfast at the castle one morning back in the day when Pan and Hook were there. My son had on his Hook outfit again and Pan and Hook were fighting over him! It was soo magical. Pan kept covering up my son's shirt. Wendy was there too, and Pan and Wendy were just wonderful, talking to my kids.
Thanks for letting me travel back and think of these old memories today. WDW has always been such a magical place for my family, it's why we keep going back. Hope all of you create wonderful memories too!!
