Any chance PP is easier to get on at RD with the Anna and Elsa stampede taking place? Any tips for getting on the ride with a short wait on a NON MM/EE day?

Sadly, not when I was there. We headed straight for PP at rope drop (we weren't at the front of the rope drop crowd; we were at the middle of Main Street). By the time we got to PP (granted we didn't really power walk there or anything), the line still took about 25 minutes. We did see a lot of people heading towards the Frozen meet and greet.

How are the lines for PP in the evening? We're thinking that if we go right after the fireworks we might do better than in the morning. It's just me and DH and I'd rather use our fast passes for the mountains but we haven't been able to get on this in a few years and thought we would try later this time.

There is no FP for PP at DLR, so that doesn't really factor into the lines. In terms of fireworks, the area behind the castle is roped off until the show finishes and they've done the security checks. After that, a CM walks the line that's formed to PP. The start is on the left side of the rope, near to the Mad Hatter Hat Shop. Factoring in the time needed to wait for the line to be taken to PP, I don't know if you'll save yourself much time in the end.

Sorry all. I am pretty new to this site and didn't realize there was a separate WDW forum. I saw the post on PP on the home page under recent discussion and picked it up from there. Is there a way to tell looking at the recent discussions which one is for which park (or cruise)?

When you say "homepage", do you mean wdwinfo.com? From their viewer, no you cannot tell which discussion board a post is located on. You'd basically have to click on the post's link and see which board comes up.

Basically, on Disboards.com's main page, there are a couple of main header groups and then lots of sub-forums.
  • Disney Trip Planning Forums - these boards are primarily focused on WDW.
  • Global Neighbours - there is a board for DLP and the other international parks.
  • Disneyland - this board focuses on DLR (Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure).

Thanks! Yes, I was going to wdwinfo.com. I'll look around at the sub-forums you mention. Have a great day!

This was our experience too on a MM midweek in March (8am). It took us 40 mins to get on. I think the only way to get on any quicker, would be to line up earlier for rope drop. But then you're still standing in line for a certain ride, no matter how you slice it!

When I went on a Sunday, non-MM, 8am rope drop, it only took me about 10min to get on. I arrived at 7:45, did not speed walk, but went straight there at rope drop. This was mid-March, so beginning of spring breaks. The parks were packed that weekend, but the morning was GREAT! I would try the weekend rope drop if possible since most people like to sleep in. Have fun!
