So, just called and was told it requires tickets, at least a 2-day ticket. I asked if there was another VISA offer without tickets and was told no.

Good lord. Disney really needs to learn to properly train their call center cast members. Others have been booking this offer as room only yet some still get the run around from cast members that aren’t knowledgeable.

Did I hear right that the discount only counts for 3 nights of your stay?

No, it was a specific case where the PP had a reservation for Sept. 26 - Oct. 2. The CM stated that only the 3 nights: Sept. 26-28 would be available for the discount. The discount ends on 9/28 so it could not be applied for nights beyond Sept. 28.

LOL, I called back and the only room-only Visa "offer" at CSR (called about CSR since I knew that was included) was deluxe CL room for $1900 for 3 nights, which is awfully close to the rack rate.

I finally got a cast member to find the Visa discount. I felt bad that I ended up not changing my reservation, but there was no availability for All Star Sports, and Coronado Springs Gran Destino Tower was still out of my price range despite the discount. PS - they're really pushing that Tower hard on the phone

I just received an email from Chase about the offer. Interestingly enough, they are calling it a summer deal. So I'm still holding out hope for another deal for Oct / Nov.

20% at POR with Garden View room Sept 17th-20th and required park tickets (minimum 2-day base ticket, we chose 3-day park hopper). Is this likely to be the best discount that will be available for September?

I would book the offer if you are happy with it. You can always cancel and rebook. These offers could be mostly gone in a few days. If a better offer comes out, you can always switch to that one.

Nope, not sure at all, even though he said he was giving me the VISA offer. LOL. That was call #2. Maybe third time is the charm...

I called for an updated Disney Visa offer for April. It was slightly better dates and percentage than the Gift of Magic Offer that was happening. My email had no code, link or anything. I don’t think the CM ever gave me anything better than the advertised offer. Sounds like something similar could be happening again. I was able to book a ticketless package, so the 2 day ticket requirement did have a workaround.

If a better-than-VISA offer comes up, and you've already booked with the VISA offer and made FP reservations, if you call to get the better offer, does that affect the FP reservations you've made (i.e. does your original booking--and all related FP reservations--get cancelled in order to get new discount)?

I just changed my existing Gran Destino, room-only, Summer discount to the Visa discount room-only, no problems. It's for tower, water view. Saved about $60!
We're there for one night on 8/6.

Well, I couldn't resist the cheap flights being offered in a JetBlue sale today so I bought plane tickets without being sure about a room discount. I'll stay at the All Stars at rack rate if no discounts come out for my dates.
