Just as others have posted.... this is what I was told.....
For the Disney Visa... room only ... these resorts only: All Star Sports, POR, AKL, CSR and AoA. and only through 9/28. Which really stinks for those with raveling dates like us, Sept 26 - Oct 3.
We currently have the Sun and Fun that was booked way back in January, but needed to add a day and hope to upgrade to preferred and this only goes through Sept 30th.
But she said the new Visa discount would only discount 3 of our 7 days.... And the Sun and Fun covers 5 of our 7 nights.
Guess we have to wait some more ..... maybe other discounts will pop up.

I should add - I already currently have a reservation that I would just be modifying to change hotel & apply the discount.

I also had a room only reservation. Had to cancel it and make a new reservation and pay deposit with my Disney Visa.

Was this for the Gran Destino Tower or for the regular Coronado rooms?

I am almost positive he told me Tower rooms were available also, but I opted for the preferred room.

I just booked VISA discount at POR in late September. The only room types the CM mentioned it applying to were Preferred and King rooms. When I asked about a Garden View, there was nothing available for the discount.

No this is not the discount originally posted in this thread but the Visa discount tends to be announced before other discounts are announced. It as a perk for Disney Visa holder. Check back tomorrow.

I did. It has a link for perks but no mention of the rooms. I tried 2 different browsers plus my ipad and phone.

I can't find it on my chase offers either. We are currently booked at YC on a free dining package that we upgraded to deluxe dining. Just curious if there would be any savings to switch over to CSR, the tower is beautiful. But the free dining on 4 adults might be hard to beat.

So, just called and was told it requires tickets, at least a 2-day ticket. I asked if there was another VISA offer without tickets and was told no.
