I AM THE BEST DAUGHTER IN THE WORLD...or at least at the moment

I got my mom and I tickets to go horseback riding as her "gift." This is something that is on her 'bucket list' and I know she will never get to do it unless I make the push. I'm super happy!

Off to get fabric for my bolero. The place we are getting fabric has a huge sale! Yea! My gable boxes are at my parents house. My stickers are coming. I still have to finish those dang books! (Why did I even consider this project??? Oh well it will be cute when it's done!)

I'm spending a little me time today. Errands and a little shopping...Life is good.

Found the fabric for the bolero...got the pattern for a dollar!!! A friend of mine and I are going to make it...I'm going to keep it simple since the dress is all bead and lace.

SO...I told my mother today that I got us ressies for horse back riding and she said she didn't want to go She said she wanted to actually spend time at the stable and ride around in a ring...She made it sound like she wanted to ride on a pony that are attached to the circles that little kids ride...maybe I should just put her on the carousel...

So, I need to cancel that.

Ok so this AM I cancelled the horse back riding I was kind of sad to see it go...but it saves me money..So, what ever.
The woman on the phone was funny...but holy moly...I understand the point of up-selling...but she was obnoxious! She had a reason I should do everything! I have to say I was kind of put off by it...but what ever.

Now for the latest loot...

I think I'm done with these little kits. I wanted everything to fit into a soap box..why-I dont know..easy to throw in your back and durable...
In the soap box:

I was going to put band-aids and gum...but haven't gotten around to it...and they make gum packs weird now...what happened to the standard stick gum packs?

Also included in this photo is the pen and word search book that will be in the finally shipping.

Next. I got stickers and gable boxes for our dessert left overs

(yes I wanted everything lower case...that is how they had the sample...not sure I love it now...oh well...)

It's a little dark...ok a lot dark... I was going to put a belly band around the box...dubbed it too much work and decided to just put the sticker against the white. The writing is more yellow...so against the white it makes it more off white...so it works

These I got for my dad...Father of the Bride sox. When I told DH about them he asked why I didn't get him Groom sox...I explained that they only went up to size 12-he wears a size 14...He then told me that his sox only go up to size 12 too...How was I suppose to know???

I love your soap boxes! That is such a great idea - your guests get a bunch of essentials that they can carry around easily. Your gable boxes look great too, and I agree that the lower case lettering looks great

I like the soap boxes! Great idea. I think the dessert boxes look great, I like the lower case and I think that they don't need anymore they look nice simple.
