Pet friendly villa recommendation? No clue where to start my search.

I see the sticky about pet friendly but was wondering if anyone had more recent experiences as well.

Hi there. I always stay onsite, but my husband is going to come with me for a week if we bring our two dogs. They are medium sized and well behaved. I know about the kennels at Disney, but I am not sold on that idea. I also see that the Loews' Hotel at Universal takes pets, but we think maybe a little more space for them might be best.

I have no knowledge or experience with offsite villa locations. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone ever rented one with your dogs that you really liked and was pretty close?

Maybe I should start with choosing a villa community then searching within there to find a pet friendly one.

I guess my wish list includes very close to Disney and a nice place. We would be going in early November probably.

Thank you for any guidance. I don't even know where to begin. :flower3:

I want to say Celebration World Resorts allows pets... they have one & two bedroom units and they are close to Disney.. just off Irlo Bronson Hwy on the west side of I-4

I will definitely look into that! Thanks for your response!

you are very welcome.. there is also the Comfort Inn on Palm Parkway, which again is very close to Disney but they will not give you the space you want unless you book 2 rooms (and request connecting). That could be an option of the other turns out too expensive.

Try www.homeaway.com. Once there, type in your dates and Kissimmee for the area. Once you click search, the next page will allow you to refine your search and clicking on Pet friendly is an option.

Good luck.

Thank you guys again for all the great responses!!

It seems like there are actually quite a few options once I got moving! It also seems like the villas on large realtor/property management sites as a whole do not accept pets (agency-wide policy) but individually-listed villas there are more.

Anyone stayed in or heard of Indian Wells? There seems to be quite a few there. And now that I found some I am getting pickier and looking for ones with fenced-in yards.

The company we rent from has some homes that accept pets. Check out Florida Leisure.com
