Anyone with pets know of a pet friendly hotel somewhere between Georgia and South Carolina? I've found some through Rand McNally's web site, but I'm not certain how far inland, etc. they are. Anyone have any personal experience with it? Thanks!!

Oh! I'm looking for some place not too far from I-95. Thanks!

I don't know if there are any Loews hotels but they are pet friendly. HTH

Try looking here Pets Welcome . It is a good resource for pet friendly hotels. We take our girls many places and it can be frustrating trying to find a nice hotel. Good luck!

Sandy, I have a book called Dog Friendly.com's dog travel guide and it lists 35 in GA and SC. If you want to PM me with where you think you will be stopping, I'll let you know what's close. We used this to travel from AZ to NH in Dec with our 2 pooches, it was a lifesaver!

Knights Inn, exit 58 off of I95 in Georgia between Savannah and Brunswick allows pets. It is a clean motel too.

I don't think you wanna try that with dogs and a kid. Driving the 10 hours back home with my dogs is really stressful to me. I can't stop and pee at all because I can't leave them in the car, but then I still have to stop every few hours to let them let their crazies out.

GOOD LUCK! At least your son can stay in the car with them while you go pee. :p

That's suicide with a 10 year old boy and 2 dogs! :scared1:

Thanks, Dprincesses. I did see their web site.

MrsV...I'll try that link. Thanks!

MF1...Hoping to PM you at some point. I have NO CLUE how long it takes to drive from here to any where. Part of my problem. Another is there is no scheduled time for closing that day...yet! :earseek: :earseek:

Momof3...Thanks!!!

Thanks, Doc! :earseek:

Jason and Shep...YOU'RE NUTS! LOL! :earseek:

I don't know if there's any along your route, but Days Inn, Baymont Inn and Comfort Inn all (usually) allow pets. We usually hit a Days Inn when we travel with the boys.
