Pet friendly DVC Resort

Same way it works at every other hotel that allows pets including the 4 WDW hotels mentioned above. At the WDW hotels, they don't do housekeeping or security checks unless you're either in the room or out walking the dog (you can call the front desk to let them know the room's empty).

Ahh... okay. Was not aware you could schedule your security checks. I’m not doubting you at all, but that just seems to defeat the purpose IMO.

Just board your pets at Best Friends. If they did decide to leave one building or section for pets, what happens when someone arrives late and the only thing left is the pet section. We all know how people gripe about getting a HCA villa when they don't need it. Also, there is no need to recreate Fort Wilderness, just use your points there or a pet friendly resort (but you need a blue card). If they made a DVC pet friendly resort, then limit points purchased there to only that resort. You couldn't use them at any other DVC resort.
