Persons Unknown...anybody watching? (SPOILERS)

I was hooked after watching the first episode, but I did miss one show and keep meaning to go to the web site and watch it , just like I want to go read about Tori like they keep suggesting, it is definately a strange show but I somehow think it will turn out all to be a dream

I'm thinking Tori is alive and has "seen the light." Her father is part of the organization, so it only makes sense that she would eventually fall into place and become one of them.

I can see sleazy guy working for them. He has no one and nothing so this will be his purpose in life. What I do find interesting is that Joe was a priest before he joined and apparently when kidnapped he shot and killed someone, just like Janet was SUPPOSED to do to Joe...I'm wondering if they were trying to see if she was strong enough to become one of them? Kind of reminded me of the movie Assassins, where the new hitman takes out the old one...

We haven't REALLY heard Maura's story yet, though it's been said she was a mental patient. She did make the comment in this epi to herself about if they only knew,kinda sad and broken. I'm really beginning to like Maura more and more.

Does anyone know when the next episode will air? I checked my DVR and nothing is scheduled for this week. Please don't tell me they will stop showing the already tapes episodes........(it seems as if all the shows I love get canceled!)

This week answered some more questions, but it was just an ok episode....

How about Mark and his GF coming across the 'town' at the end.....oh man, can't wait to see what happens next with that!

Phew! Thanks. My DVR cut off the last bit of the previews so I probably missed it....that and it was 2 am when I watched it, so I was beyond tired!

I must say, I have looked forward to it most weeks. It was a nice way to break up the summer! Reruns get old fast!

I took it that there are two seperate towns exactly alike. Remember when Joe and Janet "escaped?" The area they wandered around clearly wasn't a South American jungle. Renbe and boss lady weren't in the same town.

I agree with PP. The 2 towns are exactly the same. My thought is they carry out the 'program' in different 'towns' at the same time. Mark and Kat were driving out of town, then it showed Maura and (I forget his name) sitting in the middle of the town, which is what made me think they were separate towns. It seems as if all the 'guests' at the other location were terminated.

this was my conclusion as well, after thinking it over for a bit. ingenious of the italian guy (sorry, i don't recall his name) to cut off the thumbs of the other town's captives so they could be identified. i was afraid joe, janet and the others were going to be terminated.

I agree that there are duplicate towns, probably many... but how come they cordoned our group off on their floor and blocked the windows and all and then sedated them if all this other nonsense was happening in another "town"?

that's a very good question, and perhaps why the show isn't being renewed-more questions than answers, lol. i understand the need to be somewhat vague, but when it gets to the point that your viewers can't figure out what's going on, it's time to fill in some blanks. if i'm not mistaken, the finale is this coming saturday night, august 29th, magic mom.

Get ready for Level 2. Although I doubt we'll see it, 99.9% sure the series will get dumped.

I have liked all of the episodes until the finale. DH really liked the ending, but I thought it was pretty craptacular. One of the points that,again, wasn't answered for me, was the Dr. that Kat and Renbe found who had previously been in a body bag in one of the towns. He was missing his thumb, had obviously been dead and was suddenly in this hospital arguing that he had never been there and had no clue what they were talking about. It seemed like they were going to investigate that and EXPLAIN it, but then it got dropped. So frustrating!

One other thing, right before they are all caught again, Bill and Charlie are in the desert. Bill makes a comment about Charlie's wife, calling her by her name. Charlie wants to know how he knew her name and Bill gives some vague answer. Are we supposed to think that he is also part of the program at that point? I really am more confused than anything by the finale.

Overall I really liked the show, I looked forward to it every week and liked having something new to watch in the summer... I have many unanswered questions however...

How/why did Erica (Teresa) and Moira end up in Morroco after the van accident? I guess it doesn't matter because they still wound up back in the hotel and on to Level 2.

Why'd they put Graham through that torture in the white room if they were just going to move him on to Level 2 with the rest of the group?

How/why did Blackham know Charlie's wife's name??

What did Janet's mother do to make the program come after Janet...promise them her firstborn years ago??

Weird that Renby is in the next Level 1 group... since he knows (sort of) about the program... And poor Kat, locked in that cage like an animal.

Level 2... OMG!! Kind of reminded me of the end of 2012...

I never thought that the show was a new series, I knew it was just for the summer and I'm ok with how it ended.

Actually, the miniseries was apparently supposed to turn into a full series, but it has now been dumped. That's why there was a level 2....way to keep it open for more.

I don't know. I was just so disappointed with the ending. There were so many plotholes and the editing was horrible. So much for their promise of ALL WILL BE REVEALED
