Personalized Rings In Magic Kingdom

A while ago I had read a thread about a little shop or booth that had personalized rings you could get that weren't overly expensive. Does anyone have any info. on this? Thanks so much in advance.

Hi CRMOM

There is a booth over by Pirates of the Caribbean that makes personalized rings. My nephew looked at these when he was here this past summer and if I remember correctly they started at about $40 depending on size, style and what you wanted.

There is a similar booth at Downtown Disney.

I had a ring made for my DD (she was 8 then) it was made out of brass and her name chiseled in it. I think it cost around 25 bucks, we had it made at a stand in fort wilderness, while we were at the hoop de do revue. She wore it for about a minute and asked me to hold it, I wrapped it carefully in a tissue, stuck it in my pocket and must of blew my nose it in or something...............about 10 sangria`s later! I just love throwing money away, its so much fun! I promised to re-place it on our next trip, but since then she`s forgot about it, and I`m not going to be the one to remind her!

During our last trip this past June, there were "name rings" in the shop adjoining the VMK place on Main Street. I can't recall the exact price yet they were inexpensive as far as Disney goods are concerned. Also saw a limited selection in the gift shop at CSR.

Oldest dd had one made at a booth in Downtown Disney. I want to say it was around $25-$30 (that was Sept 2005) They also had a stand at Epcot right across from the Mexico pav. It was neat to see them carve the name out of a solid ring.

My DD has one of these rings. Actually it is her second. The first one she lost so replaced it on the next trip. We took 2 of her friends to WDW (separate trips) and they both got rings with their names on them. You pick the type of metal and the saying and come back in a short time and you have a new ring.

We got DS one in Mexico @ Epcot. It was sterling silver and they handcarved his name. If I remember correctly it was $30 and $2 for each letter.
