Personalized Messages

Is there a way to get a personalized voicemail or phone call from a Disney character in your Disney hotel room? I thought I heard that they once had these but I haven't found any information on it. Thanks!

We stayed at WL and Goofy left a message bc it was my child's first visit to Disney World. This was just last month and was a huge hit. However, I did nothing to set this up. We also arranged a few wake up calls-they were from Mickey- even if we knew we'd be up just to have our child answer the phone and have Mickey on the other end@

Our son got a call from Goofy on his Birthday when we were there in October. We made mention when we booked our trip that we were celebrating his Birthday and that is all we did. It was an awesome surprise for all of us for him to get a Happy Birthday call from Goofy.

SPECIAL PHONE MESSAGES:

1) There are four special messages available at WDW.
2) They all have different characters talking to you.
. . . wedding
. . . anniversary
. . . birthday
. . . welcome
3) The Concierge has a the internal phones numbers.
4) These can only be reached from an inside WDW phone.
5) Outside phones or cell phones cannot call the numbers.
6) They are really cute, and free, too.

NOTE: As a concierge, we used to have one or two re-dialed
with only the last number left. As we see someone walking
by, we'd hit the last number and ask them to answer the phone.
It was a nice touch.
