Personalized Items

I will be taking my first trip to Disney world in January and I was just wondering is there anywhere in the park that I can get personalized items like my name on something that deals with disney. Thanks.

You can get Mickey Ears with your name put on them for free (ears are about $7) at Le Chapeau (Hat store) at Magic Kingdom.

They sell the mickey ears at all the parks but Le Chapeau is the only one that they put the names on for free...It's also fun to watch.

We got Guest of Honor Badges with our names on them at Downtown Disney in the back of the Christmas shop and these are also available at other places too.

You can have X-mas ornamnents and picture frames personalized at The X-mas shops at DTD and MK...

I know there are more places but that is all I can think of for now.

There is also the glass shop on Main Street in MK, where you can have your name or anything else engraved on many things. Lots of things that also have other (Disney) images on them. Prices range from very reasonable to pretty expensive.

In MGM, at the store right before you turn to the street towards TOT, on the right hand side there's a store that does personalizations. They have the Guest of Honor Badges, but they also personalize towels, napkins, jackets, hats, blankets, you name it they do it.

We've gotten free personalization of ears (and pirate hats and Peter Pan hats) at World of Disney at DTD, the hat shop in FantasyLand, and a shop at MGM. I'm pretty sure there's one at AK, too! Just not sure about Epcot....

Your first trip? You GOTTA get the EARS!!!

Also at the store in MGM that was mentioned above, I bought myself a sterling silver mickey head charm and had my name engraved on it - it's really cute and I wear it all the time.
