I ordered really nice ones last year from Walmart. They are the knitted ones. I can't remember how much they were, but it was cheaper than other sites

We ordered all of ours from Pottery Barn Kids. Their lines seem to coordinate from year to year which is convenient for a growing family. We were able to go from a couple, to 3 kiddos in a 6 year time span and all our stockings match. They are almost always having some sort of sale and usually stockings ship free. If you sign up for emails, they send out 15% coupons quite often as well.

We ordered from LL Bean for the same reason -- we can add later, as we add sons-in-law and grandchildren to our holiday mantel.

I wanted to make homemade needlepoint stockings for everyone, and I have the patterns . . . but finally I had to admit it was just never going to happen.
