Personalized bricks at Polynesian

I will still hold onto hope, I cant believe disney would set up kiosks to sell just a couple hundred bricks. Maybe Dean & Denise received overwhelming responses that they decided to stop taking faxs & phone calls until they get caught up with the orders that they had and then see how many bricks that they have left before processing the rest of the faxs. I am sure they didnt expect to get all these faxs and phone calls in just a few days. pixie dust to all that is still waiting to get a brick....:wizard:

That's what I was thinking too. Good luck everyone! :wizard:

WooHoo, just talked to Dean and he gave me my brick number - EA5892

Too bad it won't be in by the time we arrive in July. I guess another trip has to be planned now!!:thumbsup2

Just spoke with Dean. My paperwork didn't make it  He asked for my name and then looked through the forms he had which were not very many and said I'm not getting one and the program is closed. He said everyone who sent in a form will get a letter. I asked if they were going to offer the path stones again. He said that info will be contained in the letter.

so I just had a horrible thought, :scared1: I hope they are not replacing the worn out bricks by selling new ones to new people???

Mine is from 94 and in W01 section, it is a little worn b/c it was right where you come off the monorail before they put up the security fences, now it doesn't get much traffic.

I called and left a message, hopefully Dean will call back.

Well, if anyone's interested, our local grade school is also selling personalized bricks. At only $200 a pop. :scared1:

This thread got me to checking on the Leave a Legacy program at Epcot, as we've never done that, either.

I emailed for information, and was informed by the CM that the program is closing June 16, 2007, so unless you're going to be there in person before that, you can't have a picture made. But you can have a tile made with text and a symbol or border. So my DH and I ordered one of those. It was only $25 - that way we have our stamp on MK and Epcot :rotfl:

She also mentioned the tiles would be in place until the 20th anniversary of the Leave a Legacy program, in 2020. Wonder where they'll go after that?

Anyway, if anyone was interested in doing this as well, I thought I'd pass along the info, since there's only 9 more days to get an order in. The email for Leave a Legacy is:

(Don't mind me, I'll keep posting this every time I update so I can remember how far I've read into this thread and hopefully not miss someone.) :)

Lots of :tinker: PIXIE DUST has landed over here this morning. If you would please be so kind to change my brick location from EA5 to PA0, please!!!! My brick will be placed in the spot that it was always meant to be, by the Polynesian!!!!:yay:

No offense to all the MK lovers. I was MORE than happy to have a brick placed there, but the Poly is what I originally requested, so now my ALL of my wishes have come true!!!:woohoo:

Congrats to all with bricks and good luck to those who are still waiting!!!!

DISCLAIMER: I need to add that announcing this was not to give anyone any ideas that they can/will have their current brick location changed if they don't like where they are placed. As mentioned above, I specifically requested my area but that request was not granted at first due to all the confusion, etc. Disney is just following up by fulfilling my original request. END OF DISCLAIMER.

Does anyone know if the walkway by the wedding pavilion has these bricks? I would love to get ours over there since we are beeing married at the Wedding Pavilion.

Hmm...I wonder what the difference between P1A (my location, according to Dean) and PA0 is.

Maybe he typed it wrong, and I'm really PA1 (everyone else seems to be nAx).

Or maybe I really am in the parking lot...

I doubt you're in the parking lot!!!:rotfl:

Let's see what maps they send us and what the certificates say. You will more than likely get your paperwork before me as mine has changed and may not be sent out for days.

I hope that Dean and Denise aren't now deluged with calls from people who come up with all sorts of ideas of what they "might or might not" be doing with other/old bricks. Good grief, I think they have been through enough the last two weeks just selling the bricks to fill in the empty spots. That is all that they are doing, is filling in empty spots.
Let's leave them alone!

We have a collection of LAL tiles, 7 total from 2003, 2005 and 2007. We love that a piece of us is always in Epcot! :goodvibes All of ours are pictures of us, but I think the text only is great too. For $25 I think it's totally worth it.

Just got an email from Dean here at work!!:cool1: Our # is EA4861!!:thumbsup2 I am so excited!!!!! My cc was charged last week but I was not holding my breath until I got my email! Good luck to everyone else and congrats to those who got a brick!

NOPE not me......I would say THIS IS A DONE DISNEY DEAL. :cool1:

I actually spoke with Dean, was very upfront with my concerns, and his response was literally this:

"You are getting your pathstone. Everything else is just rumor".

 I don't know about what actually happened, but I guess we're getting our bricks! I hope the rest of you get them as well! :goodvibes

That's cool! When are you going in July? We'll be there the week of July 4th and I at least owe you a beer at the Rose and Crown at Epcot for forwarding the brick email to me last week. If you're up for it and you'll be around, let me know... :thumbsup2

I cant read through 44 pages.. but I read the firat few and last 1... how is everyone able to buy bricks?? I just called the number thats on the first (or was it 2nd??) page, and the guy Dean (mentioned on last page) answered, but he told me there are no bricks being sold and that program stopped years ago!!! :sad1: I want a brick, what do I need to do?:sad1:
