personalising Magic bands

When I go into personalise the magic bands it asks for me for my uk address. I thought the bands would be at hotel reception based on me being in the uk. Is that correct?

You need to enter your UK address and then it tells the system to send them to your hotel for your check in.

Also, can i not pay prior and get the Kylo Ren one?

No and no. Sorry.

You enter a UK address so it knows that the bands need to be shipped to the resort, not a US home address.

Currently, you can only get non-plain bands by purchasing them at a store or through the Disney store online - it's not possible to purchase them through MDE.
Nothing to stop you buying one and then adding it to MDE yourself though (MDE will just ask for number printed on the inside of the band)

One exception
If you book the current awaken summer pckage on the US website, you can choose an exclusive BB-8 magic band instead of the plain ones
