Personalised Menus

I ve read a few TR's recently that have shown pics of certain restaurants giving couples personalised menus. Think Coral Reef is one of them, cant remember where else i ve seen them for.

How do you get the restaurants to organise this for you? How much does it cost? Which restaurants will do this for you?

We had our wedding dinner at Citricos and we arranged it with them ahead of time. I think we just called them because we were going to be in the Chef's Domain room and we were able to have items that we wanted on the menu as well as having them print the menus with our names on them.

They also did it at Narcoossee's for our anniversary and we didn't do anything other than note our anniversary when we made the reservations. HTH

For our rehearsal luncheon at Grand Floridian Cafe we had a personalized menu...they did it free of charge...though I must say, Lynn did not have as much luck as we did in this department lol

i had one at Coral reef & yachtmans steakhouse

i had to call the restaurant directly...at coral reef its debbie Sauclex i think..her info is over at the restaurant boards
for yachtmans..i ordered a cake & told them why & when we got there it was a nice surprise!!!!

we had one at Narcoossee's. They just did it for us - asked for the proper spelling of our first names when I confirmed the reservation a few weeks out.

I know some of the hotels just do them as well. The Grand Floridian did one for each setting, even though our wedding was in a ballroom. It was one less thing for me to have to do!

With the GFC do they just put the whole menu on to the personalised version for you or do you have to state what food you want on there ??

Sorry may seem like a stupid question but i would just like to make sure before i contacted them?

Do you think they would do this for our wedding planning session in Oct?? We are intending on having our after wedding lunch there next May but are trying it out in Oct to make sure we like it.

i would call back another day...we were a party of 10(not at GF) & they did it every time!!!!!

did you email the manager???& explain why

yes i emailed linda and explained it was our wedding rehearsal and we had a booking made could we do the personilised menus

she said as we were not a group it couldnt be done and we would have to use the regular menus

thats really wierd cause ANY time i called disneys ADR line, they said any # over 8 was considered "group"????? & they would have to transfer me to group dining ????
& ive heard them do the menus for just 2 people?!?!?!?!
i think shes just holding out on you IMO..i hope you can work it in!!!
