Has anyone personalised there own T-shorts for a WDW? If so where do you start, I haven't got a clue :confused3

If you want them before you go I'm sure there's a facility to design them on the Disney Store.com site. Otherwise there's the Design a T-shirt at DTD. We were playing around with it and you can make some great designs.

We saw lots of families wearing matching T-shirts over Christmas and they looked really good :thumbsup2 although I know my DDs would divorce me if I was ever to suggest it!! :lmao:

im sure if you go to the creative section on Dis someone will be able to do a design for you. :thumbsup2

have a browse on there, theres some fab designs they do. :)

We printed our own designs on our Trick or Treat bags for MNSSHP.
We got the bags and special paper from eBay and it worked out really well.
As for the designs to use we started with our own favourite character and basically went from there. We also downloaded Disney fonts, including fonts that were specific to individual characters or films. Let me know if you are interested in these and I will let you know where we got them from. Installing them is also really easy.

I won't post them all but here is an example of how they turned out using what we had bought :thumbsup2 I'm sure the result would be just the same if you used them on T-shirts.

Thats pretty much it yes. We did our own designs on the PC and printed them exactly the same as we would had we printed them on plain paper - the only difference being that you have to make sure your print them as a mirror image.

This is the sort of thing you need

A few things to remember - when buying transfer paper make sure that you buy the right paper for your printer eg inkjet paper for an inkjet printer. As Pegasus928 says if you are using white transfer paper make sure you flip the image before you print out. If you buy dark t-shirt transfer paper you DONT flip the image. Most transfers only look good for a few washes so I wouldn't spend much on your t-shirts, buy some plain t's from Asda / Primark.

There are some great disigners on the boards who will personalise a design for you http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=105 :)

arr finally something i can understand on the community board:rotfl2:
we did matching t shirts for the whole family for every day last year, hours spent disigning printing and ironing, but worth it:goodvibes
we had loads of questions about them, where can we buy them (dh has a drinking his way round the world t shirt done by one of the disigners on the disign board which was very populer. all our shirts had autism awareness logos on, some had huge prints on the back, others had little ears on the sleeves.
i love the bags that kenny did, im off to ebay now!!
p.s do them. it will save you a fortune in merchandise ove rthere, costs about £1 for an a4 printer sheet, excluding ink, and a couple of quid for a cheap tshirt, alot less than over there, plus no one will have the same t shirt as you!!
(added advantage if you have matching shirts and you lose a child, you can just point and say "shes wearing this t shirt with her name on, lol!!!)

maybe we should do a pool party posse t shirt for the reunion??
