I've done both of these tours and they both are enjoyable. Personally, I
preferred the personal watercraft tour. Some people seem to indicate that
they did not get to go fast on this tour, but unless you are a real speed
demon, you should be satisfied. Our tour guide asked who wanted to go
fast and those people were right in line behind the lead guide. Most people
did not keep up with the guide and several people, including my wife, had
to be told to speed it up. I would love to do this again, but my wife said
it was too rough for her - and yes we were on separate watercraft.
The parasailing is enjoyable and it certainly was something that I enjoyed
doing once, but I probably would not do it again. You get a beautiful
view of the island and the ship, but my trip was certainly not a thrill ride
except for the boat ride itself which had to go fast in the rough water
to keep the people in the air. My son hated the boat ride, but really enjoyed
the parasailing.
So, I think that it would be hard to choose between them. However, just
book another cruise and do the other one in the future.
